Exams and essay are starting next week !! wohoo!! this is the time of the semester when things get really fun!! - delirious from studying

What if in you had a chance to do something which seemed outrageously crazy, so seemingly insane that if you did it then you would be called a fool, a risk-taker...
Something is going to happen... i dont know what, where, or even when? but i know its soon..
I just cant explain that feeling... its like something within me (Holy Spirit?) is telling me to go with the chance, prepare myself, cos whats gonna happen is out of this world!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like in life if you did that instead of this? where would you be? would you be the same person?
I feel something exciting is gonna happen. and i want to go along for the ride! like the song goes, God is moving, cant you hear it??
I dont want to regret not doing this, whatever it is...
lol i even feel a bit silly, blogging about this... but maybe...something awesome is happening.
lol did the prophets from long ago feel like this? unsure, comprehensive of whether they were really speaking God's words? what if all this didnt happen? lol what if nothing happened? haha that would be fun...or maybe it just applies to me, just changing only me....
Main message: something big is about to happen : come along and change the world forever, or look back, and wonder what if? :).

On a lighter note, its Hui Shan and Kau Sang's birthday soon!! sooo nice of Alan to ask me and Daryl to send notes to him to print out.. thanks!! and hapi birthday you two! enjoy the pics!

oh yea the stupid blogger page cant load on my com for some reason.. so i have to use the com lab to type this . haha.

Who knew? Heres how i discovered the world is a really small place (or rather, Malaysia is!)

1. I have a friend who moved away to Subang Jaya when i was in primary school
2. We kept in touch, but basically grew up differently
3. When i went to Inti Nilai, she went to Inti Subang
4.After college i came over to aussie to study
5. My friend then went to Inti Nilai to study law!
6. and on top of that we have almost exactly the same friends from my A levels
7. my inti friends are now doing law after a levels, and are in the same class
8. So now my friend is going to HK for 5 years, to study law!
9. So what are the odds, that a friend from more then a decade ago, would go to the same place i did, have the same close friends i have, and I didnt even know about it until recently!
10. Oh wow its such a small world.

After all the long stupid preparations, the last minute rehearsals, the harried gift buying, the shoe polishing and 1 hour showers, hair
dyeing its FINALLY here!!!
Friday 4.30 pm. went out to buy some fresh roses (one of which later got stolen! Curse you robber!) for Ji Lu, as i asked her to be my date earlier. so nice of her to say yes!..and then went back to find Ursula buzzing like one crazy living organism, every cell doing their own things (lol that sounds soooo BIO). Showered for ONE HOUR!!! its cos i had to spray on purple dye later, so had to get ready. Ahem... the arsenal includes Follow Me Green Tea shampoo, Natures Organics conditioner, Dettol Fresh Fragrance, Exfoliac Peaux Jeunes Cleansing Gel, Natural Selections Vit E & Honey Soap, and the finishing touch was Jojoba Shampoo Conditioner and Shower Gel. (What the heck is Jojoba???? ...but it was good stuff)
And then had to dry my hair, styled with Helena Pro Hair Lacquer Gel, with a light coat of white and purple hair spray each. Thanks Chern for helping!

5.30 pm. had to rush a bit, as i told Ji Lu i would be picking her up at 6.20... Applied SebaMed moisturizer to face, brushed teeth AND tongue with Colgate Advanced Whitening, applied Banana Boat lip balm. SET!
Now just had to put on my clothes...

6.20pm. OMgoodness Ji Lu looks stunning in a pink strap dress! Lol its funny that she got guys to do her hair for her. But anyway we jumped into the bus and were on our way!

After about 20 minutes, we got to the Racetrack Clubhouse. The place was nice... but i've seen better. lol there was a band and stuff. Actually i dont know how to describe the whole thing.. it was more of photo taking oppurtunities and dining and dancing and stuff...

We guys bought a cigar each for the event. haha it was really funny cos they were all cheap brands that tasted bad. One of the bad things was, there was NO ball room dancing!! how can a ball not have slow dancing? but then i think it all worked out in the end cos everyone had tons of fun. I think the free flow of wine and champagne helped too. The company was really nice, with lots of social talk and stuff. After that we got together for LOTS of group photos and just mixed around. It was really cool to see all the normal people i see everyday look their best. thats why i like balls!

oh yea and what blog from me would be complete without some mention of food?? I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Chicken with avocado salad, beef and potatoes, and chocolate tripe mousse with strawberries. YUM!

11.30 pm .the bus took us back. but then the night was still young! woohoo!! out to mooseheads for some fun!!! Lol by then everyone had a little too much to drink (wanted to get our moneys worth) and some people couldnt go out haha. Mooseheads was alrite. a little dancing helped clear my head lol. And then we found $20 on the road!! Than GOd!! wohoo! chicken gourmet was even kinder and gave us an extra large chips lol. on top of that we took a taxi back lol. I think that night must have been one of the best outings to Moose cos such good luck.

3.30am i got back ... took a shower, went online and then finally got some sleep. The day was over.

Sat 18th August had a recovery BBQ!! but i dont think it really helped cos there was beer and vodka for free haha. But the food was great. Lol some Red Bull reps cam and distributed free cans. That was really bad cos it kept me awake the hole afternoon! And then i spent the whole day getting pics from everyone.

Today at church we had PIZZA for lunch!! oh when will the good food end???? not that i'm complaining lol.
Haha.. looking back... i dont think it was just me at that ball. Before the day started i prayed for wisdom. Cos i my big mouth usually messes things up lol. But thank God i had a blast! wohoo!

OMgoodness!!! Today is ursies ball!! its abour 19 hours from now!!!! I think its safe to say that right now the whole of ursies is buzzing with dress rehersals, hair styling, shoe polishing and etiquette classes lol. Me? i just came from an intense hair dyeing session which sees me trying out diff shades of white and purple lol. either it'll bomb or be a huge success. haha either way i'm dead.
and then all the guys now are like dressing up last minute and stuff, wondering if this tie goes with those shoes or if they should put their hand on the girls shoulder or around the waist when taking pictures....

Lol its prob my first ball and i'm NOT going with any girl (change this...i asked a girl out!)! thats rite.. oh how i miss the inti ball, the high school prom, and all those fine dining events. Miss the food, the company and stuff. but this time its diff... i dont have a date (revised 19th August i have one!), so technically i have to behave differently from before. although i do miss it when i had a date, but this time, i'm going to enjoy myself! but i dont think anything can beat the intiball..

So what is it with guys 'trying to find chance' at this ball? ahem.. the reason guys ask a girl out is cos some stupid textbook says they want to improve reproductive success..
which is total crap!!

The reason? cos its fun! its really boring to have all the time a split-sex dinners and stuff, although its guys that understand guys the most and vice versa, but the thing is friendships are fun to build. and i like making friends. i like enjoying a conversation with anyone. Its all about the relationships that last.and the great food, of course!!!

Oh wow... tons of stuff have been happening... and its all gearing to the crazy finale of this Friday!!! Thats rite, Ursies/ Ursula/ Ursiens Ball 2007 is coming up!!! wohoo i'm so exited!!! It'll be THE night to go to. so fun.
Today my bones are aching all over.... played frisbee again for the first time in like so many months! but then it was really good exercise.. I have high hopes for all those newbies to the game!!
Basically everyone needs to work on their passes and stamina. Then we can take the game to the next level.

Kai Xun celebrated his birthday yesterday! We were all hiding in Chern's room, going to surprise him and stuff.. haha and then the night before it was unilodge ppl's turn to host a dinner for him. oh wow. Everyday is exciting... but then all the workload is really killing me!

It getting harder and harder to set apart some quiet time (did i say this in my precious blog?) I know i cant get through the day (and ppl!) without some heavenly help. lol.

But i think God's preparing me for something big. And it'll be even bigger than this friday!! What it is, i'll just have to wait..which can be a bitch at times.

With all the stuff that has been happening last week.. i dont think i could fit it all in.. and i cant be bothered to remember either...
So what is it with all these stupid assignments coming in? its like every time i put something off theres always more stuff piling on top... Thats the way the world works?!?!?! like now, i'm supposed to revise my reading for later psychology (which still havent started classes!) but i'm blogging... sighg... i know this'll come to bite me in the ass later... i wish i could do mobile phone blogging.. then it wouldnt be such a hassle to find time ...
Oh yea i joined facebook.. its great! i think its better than friendster...
Life is just going through a challenging time... with all the commitments and stuff..its even so hard to find time to spend with God.

But then again.. thats what keeps me in check. its like i've got this extra source of strength not my own. life is exiting! i'm like, why didnt i do this sooner? but maybe its because i have been down the dark path, that i truly know how good it is to walk in the light.
I feel so thankful.
And hungry..I think i still have some heaven left....
