Tracy Huang... this post is dedicated to you. how long has it been? 1 year? wow how time flies so fast.
i'll miss you lots! expecially last year, when your room was just opposite mine. Those were the fun days =)

bleh.. i'm still stuck in the library. more tahn 20 minutes ady...
i feel a bit guilty cos for father's day i never put up a blog for him, like what so many bloggers did.

BUT i didn't forget! i called, sent a card (okla, so it was an ecard), and emailed him.

but still, Happy belated Father's Day =). To my dad who doesn't need a holiday to tell me how special he is =)

hmm.. now where IS my friend???? still waiting...

Its the day before the final paper. Everyone has their day. On this day, dreams for the prison break, i mean.. holidays are the brightest, and exam blues are at its lowest. All the plans and everything

Hmm i ponder the peculiar circumstances that put me here, in a library, without books to study what ever.
Friend asks to meet over a rice cooker
I show up
Friend calls and says she'll be late 20 minutes and gives me a time which is 30 minutes late.
I go to library out of boredom.

One thing i haven't done since early last year; i walked. usually to come here i just cycle, cos its so much faster. but when i walk its.. hmm people intrude into my personal life more? everybody i see i have to scan and make sure if its someone i know or not. and if it is i say hihowdoyoudo and move on. when i cycle i meet less, talk less.

maybe i should walk more. maybe not. the ups of meeting people vs wasting time.

i've got sooo many things planned for tommoro! After exams, i mean. but worse of all is:
JAPANESE. i F*#$ing hate it!! BUT! things are looking up on the bright side! Mr. Duck emailed me today! hehe.. plsplsplspls be a supplementary! i don wanna take another course!!

Oh yea... addicted to MouseHunt on Facebook. try it. theres a reason its the number one App of all time. Also going to play, NOTD Aftermath, work on my blog, spring clean (winter?) my room, go out for dinner (for once)... all after exams.
And not forgetting celebrating someone's birthday (can't say who for obvious reasons), MASCA stuff, and stupid MAS sponsorship! and all this before the 26th when i fly to Gold Coast =)) oh, and i STILL haven't found a way to attach the camera to my chest, Iron Man style lol. And so many other things... =)

I love today!

Daily Routine: Sleep, Eat, Study, Sleep, Eat, Sleep, Study, Sleep, Eat... etc...

I just finished doing my stupid japanese test for the night...(God help me its on tuesday! And i don't understand half the language!!) and i just realized... I'm a uni student!!

Maybe i was still stuck in my college/high school mindset, i don't know, but i realize over time, its the little bitty nuts and bolts that change. And now i'm a uni student. a pure uni student, doing uni stuff.. more responsible, doing assignments, studying, etc..!
But thats not what makes a uni student!

Its these things:

1. 20 cents are gold.
2. Two meals per day is the standard. not included room food!
3. Grocery trip whenever possible.
4. Going to the mailbox was never an ego booster/breaker before.
5. I have begun to nap again.
6. My textbooks bill almost equals tuition fees.
7. Food = Stress relief.
8. MSN/Facebook becomes an addiction
9. E-mail became my second language.
10. Uni students throw paper airplanes too.
11. I never realized that so many people were smarter than me
12. Frisbee is the coolest thing on the planet
13. China could be wiped out by a horrible plague and I wouldn't know, but I can recite last week's re-run of Entourage script
14. Cartoons are for all ages, especially Pokemon.
15. Disney movies are more than just classics.
16. I have been to the cinema for every major show
17. No one is too old for video games.
18. Procrastination is an art form.
19. DOTA is more addicting than weed
20. Thanks to DC++, I will never listen to one of my CDs ever again.
21. It never sucked so much to get sick.
22. The health service nurses are there because they couldn't make it at a real hospital. Never, ever forget that.
23. Hall formal dinners are right up there with birthdays.
24. Campus is only clean for Family Weekend and Orientation.
25. Nothing I want to register for will be open.
26. Classes... the later the better.
27. I am no longer thankful that the fire alarms are here to protect me.
28. Jeans may be worn as many times as the wearer desires
29. The only time to dress up is when my jeans are dirty.
30. Showers become less important; sleep becomes more important.
31. Asleep by 2:30 am is an early night.
32. Creativity in the dining halls is key.
33. The freshies become the snobs!
34. If it's snowing out, the only reason I will leave my room is for food.
35. Dishes smell after days of piling up.
36. Cereal makes a meal any time of the day.
37. I will eat anywhere that is a buffet.
38. I will eat anything that is free.
39.New additions to food groups: ramen and chips.
40. Stealing from the dining hall will become second nature.
41. ATM's are the devils advocate. ATM= Another Twenty Missing.
42. Keys have never been so important, yet I seem to lose them or lock myself out of the room even more.
43. The heater is my lifeline.
44. If they say I can't have it in my room, they are just kidding.
45. I have come to hate hallways/stairs with a passion.
46. These brick walls are not sound proof.
47. Pictures, posters, emails or anything else to cover the ugly cell I live in will be transformed into wallpaper.
48. Everyone is only nice for the first week. After that, no matter how nice you are, some people just won't smile back. Get used to it.
49. I am never alone!
50. I realize college is the ideal lifestyle, except for those pesky classes
51. I can spot a bike parking space from 2 streets away!!!
52. No matter how much I miss home and how sick I am of those people at school, I'm always really glad to be back.
51. I love sleep but i stay up all night anyway.

But then again i realized somethings don't change! hmm..
Top ten reasons why university is like sekolah rendah:

10. I cry for my mother
9. I cross the street without looking for cars
8. Snack time is a necessity.
7. I bundle up for the outdoors without caring what I look like because everyone else looks as stupid as I do
6. I stay at home and play games with my friends.
5. I wear my backpack on both shoulders
4. I wear big mittens
3. Playing in the dining room is a legitimate activity
2. I take naps
1. I look forward to chicken schnitzel

Omgoodness i'm gonna be here AT LEAST 3 years!!!! wow.
I know I have been in university too long when....

1. I actually like doing laundry at home.
2. I'd rather clean than study.
3. "How did it get so late!" comes out of my mouth at least once a night.
4. Mom's stew and potatoes become something I desire, not avoid.
5. I schedule my classes around sleep habits and grocery shopping.
6. I know the pizza boy by name.
7. I go to sleep when it's light and get up when it's dark.
8. I live for getting mail.
9. Looking out the window is a form of entertainment.
10. Prank phone calls become funny again.
11. I start thinking and sounding like my neighbours
12. Blacklights and highlighters are the coolest things on earth.
13. Rearranging my room is my favorite pastime.
14. IGN/ Supabarn is the coolest store.
15. The weekend lasts from Thursday to Sunday.
16. Home is no longer referred to as "home", uni is.

Lastly....
Before I came to university I wish I had known....

1. That it didn't matter how late I scheduled my first class, I'd still sleep through it.
2. That I could change so much and barely realize it.
3. That I can love a lot of people in a lot of different ways.
4. No matter how 'cool' I was in high school, no one here cares.
5. That if I wear a polo tee everyone will ask why I am so dressed up.
6. That every clock on campus shows a different time.
7. That if I was smart in high school, so what? It doesn't matter here.
8. That Psych/ Chemistry/ Engineering labs take up more time than all my other classes put together.
9. That I can know everything and fail a test.
10. That I can know nothing and still bullshit through a test
11. That it's possible to be alone even when you are surrounded by friends.
12. That friends are what makes this place worthwhile.
