The world just melts away.

Last saturday, I heard one of my most favorite songs being disdainfully raped, shredded, murdered, and thrown back at the audience. I am talking about MSO's horrible rendition of Viva La Vida by Coldplay. that was the WORST music I have ever heard in my life (beating former champion "2007 Malay Karaok version of Always by Bon Jovi in Port Dickson") I guess some ppl don't realise that being good on Singstar does not equate good in reality. For 4 days the memory of that awful performance stuck in my head. I searched desperately on the net, in my computer, my mp3, for a Viva La Vida that would restore my faith in music, and remove the disease from my ears.

Today, i found it.

Jon Schimdt is a composer of the highest degree, the type who pours his heart and soul into his work. Its these kinds of people who make me wish i wasn't studying psychology, but making the world sound a little bit nicer.

As you listen to it, close your eyes. It moves me to tears, almost. The world just melts away. I wish i was a dancer, musician, flying, floating, all at once.

The inspiration for this arrangement was by Jon's daughter. It beautiful. Go to his website at www.jonschimdt.com and listen to true greatness

I almost thank MSO for that horrible song that helped me find this treasure =)
