Airport
9 December 5.33pm.
I’m in the airport. All I can say is Thank you lady who helped me book earlier tickets! First, I couldn’t leave the Canberra plane because of lightning alert. Now, I’m waiting for the planes to be ready because of lightning alert!
And a very big curse to one Michael who is in charge of the canberran airport international check –in. I think because of his bad day, I got charged $48!!!! Because of extra 2 kg overweight!!! Oh well.. luckily I managed to sneak in some other weight, if not sure kena another fees.. total fees was about 168 dollars so I saved about 120 dollars!!! Haha!! Take that, Michael!!
I just received word plane kena delay another 30 minutes. So my flight which was originally scheduled to fly at 5.50 now boarding time is 6.00
…now trying to get online in the waiting lounge… got two choices : either optus or Telstra…walao!! both providers also have to pay to get online access!! So I CANT go online, and I CANT blog this!!! Wat kind of
STUPID service is this!!! I think they are trying to milk money out of the international passengers who desperately need wireless..people who have been here long enough know better than that…
Which gets me thinking… as early as 10 years ago wireless in airport would have seemed like a futuristic utopia (but got to pay la) I think one generation ago people just sat in airports with newspapers if they wanted to catch up on the latest stock or news… how things have changed…
So many things have lost their functionality.. like the cassette player, or the vhs.. and I especially remember those with some fondness.. I remember buying my own cassette tape was like buying some new gadget lol.. now can just download illegally from internet.. the product is the same, but the satisfaction is not..
I can imagine in the future we’ll be telling our grandkids “yes sonny last time our cassette can only hold 12 songs! Yea, so little!! And it was bigger than your ipod XII !! (ß--proposed latest ipod in the future, because ipod is very hard to run out of style)
Haha.. but why am I reminiscing so much?!? I’ve got my whole life ahead of me, to plan, to enjoy! And it comes and starts with the best and first step HOLIDAYS!!! Wohoo!!!! Home and food, here I come!!! Ciao.

Yea! I arrived safely at the airport. With all my baggage intact too! Unfortunately the flight got delayed a bit.. so I arrived I think 1 hour late. But I’m here! And that’s what counts! Can you believe the wireless here is also charged!! Siao!! I’m beginning to wonder which airport doesn’t try to get people to subscribe to them to get wireless… but the plane flight was great! I finally managed to watch Stardust (that wasn’t a lousy pirated version!) and it was soooo cool!!!can’t wait to watch Golden Compass!
Now waiting for family to show up… I think I better walk around to find them lol =P
