Unilodge: Finale

Well I could write about all that has happened today.. like all the running around I did for MSO, looking for sponsers and stuff.. how I ended up on the wrong bus thanks to the wrong time, how I cooked too extra extra spicy food and got a headache because of that (still do!), or how we cooked this huge dinner to try to finish up all the food we had. But none of it matters because
I’m coming home today!!
Well not exactly.. first I’ll have to go Singapore, then kl, then only go home. But then when I think of home now all my thoughts are preoccupied with the regional food. So anywhere with good Malaysian food is considered home to me.
So I’ll leaving Canberra around 3 pm today.
Now for the bad news. Lees’ Inn is closing down. Starting January next year it’ll have a new management, name, and food..sommore so sad when I wanted to tapao my last chicken wings, the bus came.. so had to take back my order.. so sad…
It was, in my opinion, the best chicken wings in Canberra (yes, even better than Chicken Gourmet!) When I was leaving the restaurant they told me the secret of the chicken, and how they made it so well.. to honour their memory I wont disclose it here, but will secretly pass it on by word of mouth to whoever asks me.
Goodbye Lee’s Inn, Canberra, and the best of Ursies people I have known. Next year, its going to be a whole great fun year
