The Trip That WAs!!!!
read One Lousy Trip!?!?!?!?! before you read this.

some geeky chap is doing a documentary on malaysia. seriously! I'm not making this up!
seems like theres this guy doing a doc on how consumerisme effects malaysian life.
The following are actual clips heard on the radio. This is not a scam.Read on.words in bracket are by me
bbc geek: first we talk to a chinese teen named ching chang chong
(or sumting like dat)
bbc geek:so, miss ccc, how is consumerisme effecting the chinese generation in malaysia?
Ms. CCC: actuallyah, we don loose our velly chinese culter one. we still beliefe in numbel 1, wealth, 2, health, n 3 loooong life.
bbc geek: and all 3 beliefs are incorporated into consumer shopping?
Ms. CCC: surela! even tho we r not like out parents who save alot, we still maintain our tladition and chinese values one!
(to those who want to convince parents to buy stuff, tell them we still maintain our culture and values.Remember, you heard it on BBC.)
cut short to an interview with a malay guy.
bbc geek: so, mr fazir, is that cellphone you're holding a reflection on the western influence in the asian market?
Mr Fazir: how dare u insult my hanpon! its not jus a hanpon, its a pda hanpone!
bbc geek: right. and do you think that the malaysian market is buying into european brands, thus losing its culture?
Mr Fazir: Weeelll,if u mean that i can buy into the Liverpool FC in England den sure can one!Malaysia boleh, u noe!*bbc geek cracks up at this point*

the bbc geek also interviewed an orang asli too.lol
to me its a funny thing. how come nvr interview the indians?another thing. those british pronounce orang asli very funny like, ouuraang arselee.

while being ,ahem , entertained by radio, we reached the g. ofice.
Now this is the historical in my story.
Those who read sejarah will surely noe about Sultan Ibrahim of Johor.
if u donno then jus go for NS or sumthin.
anyway,the g. office is the PALACE OF THE JOHOR SULTANS!!!!!
being overwhelmed by history, i just had to play the happy tourist and started clicking away with my hanpon.

wel, i'll download dat stupid picasa thing so u can see it too
the finery and brilliant example of Britist and Moorish designs dont , however extend to the toilet facilities.
Trust me. You dont wanna go there.
Another thing.The next day is the sultan of Johor b'day. Right. where is the deco??? i dont see a single flag or ribbon or watnot.
Haha. maybe its a magic castle like harry potter and the deco will come 'magically' floating. Lazy officials.
Time for 1 last meal before bertolak balik!
We go to Landmark. My dad says its built by sum Hong Kee fella.
Inside? Deserted. The only decent place to eat there is Chicken King.
THE FOOD SUCKS
dont ever go there to eat. im talking about the chicken king in landmark. the chicken is bad. the fries are hard.the pinapple juice had asam in it!!!
to top it all off, there was a stupid tv giving veerrry bad signals from sing.sigh.
The drive back was ok. i slept through most of it so i didnt have to hear the dreaded radio...
BAck home, stopped for a meal (i really like to eat) at a new place. super.
So now i checked all my on9 stuff.done. email? done. blog? almost done.
Waitaminit.
Mom comes in.its 2.45am. "GO TO SLEEP!!!! TOMORROW UR GOING TO MELAKA!!!!"
Please dont tell me im driving.....
